The Red Hot Chili Peppers have spent much of this year rocking arenas and massive festivals like Lollapalooza. But what if you could see the legendary rockers at a club … on New Year’s Eve?
A little more than 4,000 fans will find out what that feels like on December 31 when the Peppers play their first Las Vegas show in more than seven years. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will treat fans to an intimate (by Peppers standards) gig at the Chelsea, which has hosted previous NYE events by the likes of Jay-Z, Coldplay and Stevie Wonder. The concert will kick off at 10 p.m., with the band taking the stage at 11 p.m. and pausing briefly to ring in the New Year before getting right back to business.
If you can’t get one of the coveted tickets to the show and you happen to be in Vegas you can still see the gig, as it will be broadcast by the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hotel on the resort’s 65′ outdoor digital marquee. Tickets for the show are $150 (plus fees) and will go on sale on Friday. READ MORE
