The number one spot on the Hot 100 is now just something that Gotye [[ go-TEE-yay ]] used to know.  The Australian singer-songwriter’s smash “Somebody That I Used to Know” has finally been dethroned on the Billboard chart after an eight-week reign.  The track falls to number two, as Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” ascends to number one.  She’s now the first lead female artist to reach the chart’s peak position with her first Hot 100 entry since Kesha did it with “Tik Tok” in 2010.  Elsewhere on this week’s tally, Maroon 5’s “Payphone” holds strong at number three, as does Fun’s “We Are Young” at number four.  British-Irish pop group One Direction climbs one spot with “What Makes You Beautiful” to round out the top five.
