Pop music’s “Mother Monster” is teaming up with the Queen of Daytime TV later this month.  Lady Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germanotta announced on Tuesday that Oprah Winfrey is on board for the official launch of their Born This Way Foundation.  The talk show host will appear alongside the pop star when she unveils the research, education and advocacy project at Harvard University on February 29th.  The event will also be broadcast on Oprah’s new OWN show, “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”  Other high profile guests expected to be in attendance include author Deepak Chopra and U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius.

Gaga first announced plans for the Born This Way Foundation last year, and explains in a press release that it will “explore the best ways to reach youth and create a new culture of kindness, bravery, acceptance and empowerment.”  The organization is a joint effort with the John D. & Catherine T. McArthu
