Kelly Clarkson will be taking the Grammy stage next month. The pop singer, who’s also nominated with Jason Aldean for their duet “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” has been booked to perform at the upcoming ceremony. Aldean is also among the acts who have been invited to sing their award-worthy hits, as are Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and the Foo Fighters. This will be the first Grammy gig for Aldean and Minaj, while Clarkson, Mars, Swift and the Foos have all been there before. More performers for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The ceremony is set to take place February 12th. CBS will broadcast the festivities live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
Clarkson’s trip to the Grammys adds another performance to an already busy February. Not only will she be in the midst of her “Stronger” tour, which kicks off today, she’s also dropped hints that she’ll be performing the National Anthem at Super Bowl 46 in Indianapolis on February 5th.
