A Colorado teen’s “racy” senior yearbook portrait was rejected from the yearbook, but she and her family are vowing to fight the ban.

In the photo, Sydney Spies, 18, is posing in a shoulder-exposing black shawl and a short yellow skirt.

The five student editors of the Durango High School yearbook are saying it was their decision to ban the photo and not the school’s administration.

But both mother and daughter are claiming that freedom of speech can’t be overruled by a high school yearbook staff.

The yearbook staff said they offered Spies an opportunity to include the photo in the yearbook as a senior ad, just not as her senior photo. Spies said she thinks the yearbook staff is interfering with her freedom of speech and that her photos are ‘artistic and sexy.’

In an interesting turn since the story came out, Sidney is paying her yearbook $300 for advertising space! Now, she will have a whole page dedicated to her erotic, should be on the cover of an adult video cover pictures!

Should this be banned from her high school yearbook?
