The rapper filed a legal response to the troubled starlet’s lawsuit against him, in which she claims Pitbull owes her money for saying, “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan” in his song, “Give Me Everything.” Lindsay filed her lawsuit in New York State Court, but Pitbull pointed out that she’s been living in L.A. since 2004, and “given her frequent legal troubles, Ms. Lohan possesses irrevocable ties to California that are likely to keep her there for the foreseeable future.”In his response, Pitbull detailed all of Lindsay’s legal troubles in California — including her jail stints, house arrest and probation problems. He concluded, “Thus, in light of Ms. Lohan’s continuing obligations to the State of California, as well as the foregoing facts, Ms. Lohan is a citizen of California, not New York.”TMZ reported that Pitbull wants the case transferred out of NY State court and into federal court because he’ll have a better chance of winning.TAXPAYERS PAYING FOR LINDSAY’S LEGAL ISSUES?Meanwhile, Los Angeles taxpayers have reportedly been footing the bills for Lindsay Lohan’s years-long legal drama. Former federal prosecutor Michael Wildes told Fox News, “From logistics to the transcript reporters to the clerks, it is exorbitantly expensive to have a court appearance. . . It costs tens of thousands of dollars per court appearance.”Attorney Vikki Ziegler concurred: “It has likely cost taxpayers millions of dollars. This has been a four-year ordeal that taxpayers in California must foot.”
