Audio equipment company Klipsch has bought the naming rights for the Noblesville concert venue originally known as Deer Creek Music Center and then Verizon Wireless Music Center during the past decade. The 24,000-capacity amphitheater will be “Klipsch Music Center” beginning with the 2012 outdoor concert season.
Klipsch — a maker of home theater systems, floor standing speakers and headphones — established corporate headquarters in Indianapolis in 1989, the same year Deer Creek opened.
Klipsch CEO Paul Jacobs says the sponsorship links its products with an incomparable live music experience to its hometown, according to an Associated Press report. Terms of the sponsorship weren’t announced.
