The Social Security Administration has released a report showing about half of American workers earned less than 26-thousand-363-dollars last year. Ninety-percent of tax filers reported compensation of less than 85-thousand dollars last year. As for all those wealthy people politicians keep talking about, the SSA says 99-percent of Americans made less than 250-thousand dollars last year. The “Wall Street Journal” has posted an income calculator on its website, WSJ.com, that invites you to input your household income to see where you rank with the rest of the country.
