Britney Spears’ tour is really heating up and now the singer has another thing to be happy about — she doesn’t have to be deposed. According to RadarOnline.com, the licensing company that is suing Britney for breach of contract has been denied its request to force Britney to be deposed in the case. Britney is still under conservatorship and therefore shouldn’t have to. The licensing company, Brand Sense, is suing Britney and her father, Jamie Spears for allegedly stopping payment of royalties from Britney’s perfume. The company is reportedly seeking $10 million in damages. The lawyers for Brand Sense said they would appeal the decision.
Definitely good news for Brit considering the tour didn’t start off so hot. I’m just wondering if she still brings the energy live or if its on its way out.
I guess the only way to find out is to see her live in August. Concert info is on the EVENTS page… Check it out!
