Comedian Tracy Morgan is known for his outspoken and sometimes absurd comments however, after his recent comedy show where he went on a gay bashing rant in which he stated that “he’d kill his son if he were gay”, he’s found himself in the center of controversy.

Following the comedy show in Nashville, an audience member took to his Facebook page to express his feelings toward Morgan’s anti-gay rant during the show. In his Facebook post, he stated: “What I can’t take is when Mr. Morgan took it upon himself to mention about how he feels all this gay s–t was crazy and that women are a gift from God and that Lady Gaga’s “Born this Way” is bulls–t, gay is a choice, and the reason he knows this is exactly because “God don’t make no mistakes” He took time to visit the bulls–t of this bullying stuff and informed us that the gays needed to quit being p–sies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying. He mentioned that gay was something kids learn from the media and programming, and that bullied kids should just bust some a– and beat those other little f–kers that bully them, not whine about it…”

Wow.

According to Necolebitchie.com, After this this message was posted on Facebook, GLAAD (The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) decided to investigate the situation, and another gay activist group even called for an apology from Tracy.

According to the New York Times, since then, Morgan has issued an apologetic statement. He stated: “I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others. While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context.”

Yes, everyone has their different view on the gay and lesbian community and whether you agree with it or not, there are gay and lesbian people in our society. Once people begin to accept the fact that everyone is different and has different views, things such as bullying will cease and people will find it easier to “come out the closet” instead of living a “secret life”, which causes more harm to everyone (both heterosexual and homosexual) than anything.  (Especially in the African-American community.)

Think about it.
