Taylor Swift has been cast as one of the voices in the upcoming Dr. Seuss film The Lorax, the story of a forest creature who shares hope with those around him.

Swift will be voicing the character of Audrey, the love interest of Ted (voiced by Zac Efron), a boy who tries to find a way to his dream girl’s heart. She joins a cast of voices that includes Danny DeVito (as the Lorax), Ed Helms (as the Once-ler), Rob Riggle (as O’Hare), and Betty White (as Grammy Norma). The Lorax marks Swift’s second film after her appearance in last year’s Valentine’s Day.

The film is slated to be shot in 3D-CGI animation and expected to be released on March 2, 2012. It will be the third feature created jointly by Illumination and Universal.
