Rappers are notorious for their smoke-filled parties, but usually it’s a different kind of smoke than this.
It all went horribly wrong for one young model at the celebratory party for the release of Diddy-Dirty Money’s new album, Last Train To Paris, at the London in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
It started off happily enough with the girl luxuriating in a bubble and rose petal filled bath, surrounded by lit candles, in a 2,500 square foot penthouse at the posh hotel.

Nice work: It started out nice enough as a model luxuriated in a candle lit bath at the release party for Diddy-Dirty Money’s new album on Tuesday night in LA
Oh boy! The model leans back and catches the back of her hair on fire…. but it takes some time for her to notice
The model is obviously enjoying herself, smiling and playing with her gorgeous thick black hair.
Another model leans across and scatters more rose petals into the bath at one point whilst comedian/actor Kevin Hart, addresses the cameras, microphone in hand.
But then you suddenly notice a burst of flame behind the girls head and although she’s oblivious for the first second or so it suddenly dawns on her that her hair is on fire.
She starts frantically trying to put the flames out before ducking her head into the bath.
Meanwhile she doesn’t seem to elicit much help, or concern, from the surrounding party goers.
Oblivious: The fire rages on for what seems like an eternity before the horrified model finally realizes
Duck down: The model ducks her head under water to put out the flames
Most people actually move away quickly to avoid the flames, whilst Hart appears to not be able to stop laughing.
Amazingly he seems more concerned with the incident being filmed than if the girl is OK, screaming into his microphone: ‘Did the camera catch that? Did the camera catch that?’
Although, in a case of locking the stable door after the horse has bolted, fire fighters were reportedly called to the party after the poor girl had extinguished the flames.
The incident was broadcast live on Diddy’s UStream channel.
Amused: Amazingly, the event host, Kevin Hart actually seems amused… hardly able to hide his laughter as he yells: ‘Did the camera catch that?’
Reassurance: Diddy took to the microphone at the end to reassure everyone that all was OK: ‘It’s crazy, everything is under control’ he said
‘Fab was the first person to see the fire,’ Hart says to camera. ‘We put it out as quick as we could I can honestly say.
A worried looking Diddy finally appears on camera, rubbing his head and enquiring as to why fire fighters had been called.
The rapper later took to the microphone himself to reassure party guests that everything was under control. ‘The fire department just left upstairs,’ he says. ‘It’s crazy, everything is under control.’
