Darth Vader, stormtroopers and several other characters from the “Star Wars” franchise invaded Conseco Fieldhouse this morning to promote “Star Wars: In Concert.”

The multimedia performance, which will be presented Dec. 12 at Conseco Fieldhouse, features music from six films of the blockbuster sci-fi trilogies.

An orchestra and choir will perform music written by John Williams, while C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels offers live narration to accompany movie excerpts shown on a video screen above the stage.

The arena also will host an exhibit featuring costumes and props from the films. “Star Wars: In Concert” debuted April 10 at London’s O2 Arena.

Tickets for the Conseco date, priced at $65, $50 and $35, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Tickets will be available at or by calling (800) 745-3000.
