INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A Black Friday shopper who cut in line was arrested by police after an argument ensued, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report.
An off-duty officer was working at the Walmart at 10617 E. Washington St. when he was flagged down at about 12:25 a.m.
Witnesses say Requita Sullivan, 29, of Indianapolis, cut in a cashier’s line. She wasn’t happy with the officer’s suggestion and began to walk toward the exit. Before leaving, she began arguing with customers in the line, according to police.
The off-duty officer told Sullivan to stop arguing with customers and leave the store. So, she began arguing with the officer instead. She told the officer her mother was in the store, so she wasn’t leaving.
She was arrested and faces a preliminary charge of criminal trespass.
