Just because Tyra is off the air doesn’t mean the drama is over just yet. Tyra Banks is in hot water over a segment on her defunct talk show that focused on teen sex addicts. The mother of a 15-year-old who appeared on the episode is suing the supermodel for $3 million, with claims that her daughter didn’t get her permission to go on the show, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Beverly McClendon is claiming that her daughter responded to an open call on the show’s website last fall about teen sex addicts, and producers later flew the girl out to New York and put her up in a hotel without her mother’s knowledge. Warner Bros. Entertainment and the executive producers of the show are also included in the suit, filed in federal court Oct. 8. In court documents, the Georgia native said the show “was undoubtedly watched by sexual deviants, perverts and pedophiles alike,” and violated her daughter’s privacy. McClendon is also trying to get an injunction to prevent the episode from airing in the future.
