We’re thinking that 9-year-old Beatrice is going to be pretty popular with her classmates from now on. The precocious pre-teen pulled off the celebrity encounter of a lifetime after she wrote Captain Jack Sparrow — aka Johnny Depp — a letter asking for his help with a minor mutiny at her Greenwich, London, elementary school.

Captain Jack Sparrow,

At Meridian on Old Woolwich Road we are all a bunch of budding young pirates. Normally we’re a right handful but we’re having trouble mutinying against the teachers!

We’d love it if you could come and help!

P.S. We have a plentiful supply of rum!

Depp was filming the fourth installment of the Pirates franchise, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” at the nearby 18th century Old Naval College when the letter found its way to him, and after giving the school’s teachers about 10 minutes notice, Depp popped in for a visit along with a few of his crew, all dressed in full pirate regalia.

In an interview with “London Tonight,” young Beatrice revealed that the kind-hearted actor — who has two children of his own — spent about 15 minutes putting on a show for the school, and that he “gave me a hug and said, ‘Maybe we shouldn’t mutiny today ‘cos there are police outside monitoring me.'”

Maybe next time Beatrice!
