After rocking long platinum locks for many months, Lindsay Lohan is returning to her roots. Her red roots, that is. The ‘Machete’ actress set the web abuzz on Friday when she stepped out in Santa Monica with freshly dyed auburn hair.
The next few weeks and months are critical for the young actress as she tries to regain her standing in Hollywood. Lohan needs to shake her hardcore party image and remind people why she used to land so many solid roles in the first place. Changing her hair back to the color people associate with ‘Mean Girls’ and ‘Freaky Friday’ is a smart first move.
It sounds like she’s making other savvy decisions too. Following in the footsteps of other disgraced celebrities, Lohan is reportedly in talks to stop by ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ to tell her side of the story. And it’s also rumored that she’s hired manager Larry Rudolph–best known for managing Britney Spears and constructing the pop star’s successful comeback.
