2016 NBA Finals - Game Seven

Every year LeBron James takes a break from social media during the playoffs. He calls it “Zero Dark Thirty-23.” Over the years it has proven to be an affective way to bar him from all the negativity spewing from social media and is one less distraction. With three championships under his belt, this method seems to be doing pretty well.

Upon reentering the social media world after this year’s blackout, LeBron took straight to Instagram to let the haters know he heard about all of the criticism, but he still prevailed. He posted one video of him simply holding the Larry O’Brien Trophy with the caption, “Love you so much!!! #StriveForGreatness #ThisOneIsForTheLand #RWTW.”

But the second post was what got the internet swirling. It was a photo of the 31-year-old champ with his head down wearing a dad hat that shows Kermit the Frog sipping tea.

The caption reads: “They said u lost a step, wasn’t explosive as once was, the best days was in the real view, questioned your drive, your leadership, your commitment, you don’t have killer instinct, going back home is the worst mistake in your career, he got the coach fired, players traded, won’t work between him and Kyrie, Him and Kev won’t work, love your teammates to much, there’s no way he can deliver a championship in his hometown, etc etc etc…. But guess what THATS NONE OF MY BUSINESS #StriveForGreatness #ThisOneIsForTheLand #PutSomeRespeckOnMyName Hahahaha!!! Yes sir

We’re happy LeBron took the time to address all the adversity he’s been facing since returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers. By now, we’re sure he’s already plotting on the next ring.
