Grammy-nominated neo-soul collective The Internet paid homage to N.E.R.D in a recent cover and it’s nothing short of awesomeness.
While on tour in Australia for St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival, Syd The Kid and her fantastic band stopped by triple j radio and did a special cover of “Tape You” for the show’s Like A Version segment. The L.A.-based band incorporated their unique sound into the track, demonstrating that they’ve learned from the best.
The song stems from N.E.R.D’s 2002 album In Search Of… Watch the performance above and stay tuned for more from The Internet.
