Congratulations Britt McHenry, you and your fugly bun just went viral. Sadly, it’s for all the WRONG reasons.

A video has surfaced [via LiveLeak] of ESPN reporter Britt McHenry COMPLETELY DISPARAGING a female towing company employee. And the worst of it happens AFTER she is warned that she’s being filmed on security video. But that didn’t stop her from making fun of the woman’s features, and essentially throwing down the “do you know who I am?” card.

Eww…vomit.

Apparently, all of this transpired after her car was towed in Arlington, Virginia, while she was inside a restaurant having dinner. She tweeted about the occurrence on April 6, but then deleted it. Shortly after that, an ESPN spokesperson said “We are aware of a recent exchange between Britt McHenry and a towing company employee. We are now reviewing the matter with her.”

ESPN has since suspended her for 1 week (which most of the people on social media seem to agree is a pretty weak punishment).

Yesterday, she released [what I would consider] a pretty WEAK apology on her Twitter (@BrittMcHenry) saying this:

“In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.

Here’s just a few “highlights” of the inexcusable things she said to a woman who was simply doing her job:

-“I’m in the news sweetheart, I will f*cking sue this place.”

-“So I could be a college dropout and do the same thing?”

-“I’m on television and you’re in a f*cking trailer, honey.”

-“Lose some weight, baby girl.”

Check out the video below:

How vile! Here’s hoping ESPN gets serious with her punishment, humbles her, and if they do end up firing her lets hope they use her own pretentious line against her:

“I’m on television..”

—Not anymore, honey!

UPDATE: Busted Coverage now has more info, this time from the TOWING COMPANY’S side of the story (including comments from the employee that she insulted). Check that out HERE.
