One more reason why I can’t help but love John Legend….and don’t even get me started on his amazeballz wife, Chrissy Tiegen. She is my spirit animal.
So, get this:
The [hawt] dynamic duo paid for a number of food trucks to come and serve protesters in New York this past weekend.
FYI, the activists were out in the city to protest the grand jury decisions in the cases of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
Legend and Teigen helped fuel the fire by quietly paying for the Kimchi Taco Truck and Milk Truck NYC to feed protesters in Lincoln Square.
The best part?
The couple didn’t make a big deal out of their support.
Nope…they didn’t do it for attention, so people would make a big deal out of telling them how amazing they are. They just did it because they felt it was the right thing to do. Because they are GOOD PEOPLE.
Teigen simply retweeted a tweet about the location of the trucks made by Operation Help or Hush, an organization that helped them set up the food truck situation.
