According to the UK’s Daily Mail, after the dust appeared to have settled from the storm created by the recent celebrity iCloud hacking scandal, a NEW wave of nude celebrity photos have been leaked online.
Some of the stars targeted in the most recent have of photos that were released include Kim Kardashian, Hope Solo, Kaley Cuoco, Gabrielle Union, Megan Good, Hayden Panettiere, Avril Lavigne, Mary-Kate Olsen, Amber Heard, and Vanessa Hudgens just to name a few. As well as even MORE photos of Jennifer Lawrence and Rihanna.
This comes just three weeks after naked photos of actress J-Law and ‘100 other stars’, including supermodel Kate Upton were published online.
Although most of the latest victims were named on an original list of targeted celebrities that were posted by a hacker to the anonymous image-sharing forum “4chan” last month, Kardashian was not. Not that seeing Kim K naked is anything new for ANYONE nowadays, but regardless—having photos released in this manner is just WRONG no matter how you slice it.
According to TMZ, the images were reportedly uploaded to 4chan and Reddit, but they quickly removed them due to their policy on hacked photographs being shared on the site (and efforts to crack down after the last wave of leaked photos came out.)
Apple has denied that its iCloud system was compromised during the attacks, which were the result of ‘a very targeted attack on user names, passwords and security questions’.
Apple spokeswoman, Nat Kerris said, “We take user privacy very seriously and are actively investigating this report.”
The company, which said it was ‘outraged’ by the security breach, has now advised worried customers to update their accounts with a ‘strong’ password and enable two-step verification.
Celebs have vowed get their lawyers involved and even calling upon the FBI to crack down on the hacker issue. The FBI also confirmed that there is a case developing but didn’t offer any more details.
But in the meantime, male stars are allegedly getting SUPER nervous that they [and their man meat] will be the next targets.
