If you were one of the people who took Big Sean seriously when he said to do it like Beyonce, her father and former manager Mathew Knowles has got a class for you.
According to HipHollywood, Mathew Knowles will be conducting a “day-long, intensive boot camp” at Houston Community College Central. Titled “The Entertainment Industry: How Do I Get In?,” the class is targeted towards any person who wants to be apart of the entertainment business in some way, shape or form. The community college posted on their website:
“The daylong boot camp will allow attendees to tap Knowles’ vast entertainment and music business expertise and leave with real information, contacts and strategies for their own successful entertainment endeavors.”
The class is for “current or aspiring entertainers, songwriters, musicians, composers, writers, producers, managers, sound or engineering technicians, publicists, attorneys, financial planners, fashion stylists, hair dressers, photographers, editors, accountants and a myriad of other entertainment-industry hopefuls are invited to attend.” Basically it’s for anyone with any interest in anything tangentially related to the entertainment industry, or anyone who wants to be in the same room as Beyonce’s father.
The class costs $350 and entrance can be purchased on the day of the class (September 13th). However, attendees can get a $55 discount by registering for the class in advance.
Check Houston Community College Central’s website for more information.
