We all saw Nick go stage-5-clinger status after being given the axe on The Bachelorette finale Monday night, and he really showed his true colors by taking a low blow on the “After The Final Rose” show by revealing that he and Andi had “made love”….even though she ended up getting engaged to Josh—obvi.
That’s pretty awkward for anyone, so the big question is, AFTER he found out that his new fiancé had been getting frisky with another guy, are they still together?
According to E! News, Andi and Josh, who insist they are still “in love,” and that Nick’s revelation that he slept with Andi doesn’t mean a thing.
“I couldn’t care less,” Josh said. “I didn’t even see Nick [at the “After The Final Rose” show].”
“It is what it is,” Andi echoed. “That’s him showing his colors or beliefs…Everyone may be talking about it, but it’s so over and done and it’s been over and done. This happened months ago, so we’ve already put that behind us. I’d rather people just talk about us and talk about the happy couple. We did it. We did what the show is all about. We are in love.”
Still, at this point, no one can be too sure what is truth and what is spin. A source close to the couple said: “They will not make it. He was more concerned about ‘winning’ than being actually interested in Andi…She really likes him but his feelings for her are not as strong.”
Harsh opinion, we know. And here’s hoping they pull through. After all, the Bachelorette/Bachelor franchise sure could use another success story.
One thing that might help: Josh claims he actually did not watch any of The Bachelorette season. “I didn’t need to watch them, obviously,” he says of the episodes. “I know what happens because [Andi] is honest with me about everything. It’s really not even a big deal.”
Yeah….that’s probably a good idea that he doesn’t tune in to re-live all the make out sessions she has with nearly EVERY other guy. IJS…
Josh and Andi say they haven’t set a wedding date yet, “We’re thinking probably spring,” and that they will be moving to Atlanta together. “I mean I got the ring already,” Andi says with a laugh. “My lease is up and his lease is up, so we’re going to get a place together.”
For Nick’s part, he insists he had no intention of humiliating Andi by revealing to the Bachelorette audience that they had done the deed. But he wishes things had gone differently.
“I definitely wish I had that opportunity to have that conversation with her in private,” Nick told reporters during a conference call. “I did not go into last night expecting to ask her that. I was just so caught off guard by her demeanor. It wasn’t so much about the sex, but the level of intimacy that night. And given the situation at the time I made it very clear where I was in my feelings for her and what something like that meant to me. I was just so caught off guard, that it sort of just came out. I didn’t want to humiliate her or make her feel that way. I feel very sorry if she did feel that way. ”
Suuuure, I bet he feels sooooo sorry. NOT.
