According to USA Today, after missing the second half of the 2013 season with a torn ACL, Indianapolis Colts receiver Reggie Wayne went out of his way to announce his arrival at the team’s training camp Wednesday.

As Brent Drinkut of the Indy Star captured on Twitter, the 35-year-old six-time Pro Bowler showed up to Anderson University in an IndyCar  driven by Ed Carpenter.

“I want one of these,” Wayne said.

Us too, Reggie, us too.

And here’s the Vine video captured by a witness:

After exiting the car, Wayne told reporters that he has been cleared to practice with the team, which is GREAT news especially for quarterback Andrew Luck and head coach Chuck Pagano who recently spoke about how valuable he was as a veteran leader for the team.

“He can still play. You know he’s gonna get open, you know he’s gonna make the catch,” Pagano.  “And you know what he brings to the table as far as the locker room and your facility with the type of leader and type of man that he is. It’s gonna be great to have him back in there.”

Amen to that, fellas, Amen to that!
