Snoop Dogg and Keyshia Cole are learning the hazards of lending out their cars to unqualified users.

According to TMZ.com, the rapper and the singer are both dealing with the pangs of vehicle impoundment after the strong arm of the law caught up with some free wheeling associates.  Snoop’s famed yellow, 1967 Pontiac lowrider was impounded after Los Angeles police pulled over the car’s driver for driving without the headlights on on Christmas Eve.  It was soon discovered that the man behind the wheel, a friend of the rapper’s, was also driving on a suspended license.  Snoop reportedly had to pony up 261-dollars to free his ride.

In Ohio, Keyshia Cole’s nephew was reportedly the reason behind the impounding of her Mercedes SUV earlier this month.  TMZ.com says Cole’s relative was arrested for DUI on December 2nd in Broadview Heights.

He reportedly dropped the singer’s name in a plea to the arresting officers who were not impressed.

As of Christmas Day, TMZ.com said the car was still impounded where it will remain until Cole pays at least 700-dollars and court fees to reclaim her SUV.
