Be honest. Do you really know why we celebrate Labor Day and enjoy a long weekend? It’s ok if you don’t because a lot of other Indy residents don’t know either. If you do know, good for you. If you don’t know here is the knowledge courtesy of wikipedia:

Labor Day in the United States is a holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September. It is a celebration of the American labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of their country.

We asked some Indy residents this past weekend, ‘What is Labor Day?’ Listen to their answers!
