By the looks of things, NBA star Lamar Odom’s life is going from bad to worse in the blink of an eye. After it was revealed Odom was dealing with an addiction to crack cocaine, his team the Los Angeles Clippers stated they won’t re-sign him due to his drug abuse.
According to reports, the team was really excited about extending Lamar Odom’s contract because he performed well last season. However, he wasn’t re-signed because when the two parties were supposed to be in contract negotiations, Odom was nowhere to be found. Because Lamar Odom wasn’t able to be reached, contract negotiations stalled.
What’s really sad about this situation is that the Clippers were still interested in signing Odom to a deal in spite of his erratic behavior. However, once Odom’s drug use became public knowledge, the team decided to abandon ship. Hopefully, he can get it together.
