Taylor Swift has written a song about the Kennedy family, who she has become close with as of late.

Rory Kennedy says,“She really just loves my mother which is so sweet. I’m a huge fan of hers, I have young girls and we had been to a few of her concerts. I met with her at one of them and she had read a ton of books about our family. She was inspired and wrote a song.

My uncle Teddy, he had a good voice. We are actually terrible, terrible singers but we love to sing.”

Zac Efron reportedly had a “flirty dinner” recently with chronic heartbreak victim Taylor Swift. Us Weekly reported that the two “were deep in conversation and very giggly,” earlier this month at a Los Angeles restaurant. However — sources close to the stars are trying to put the brakes on any romance rumors. An insider close to Swift explained the meal saying, “They were in L.A. doing press stuff together, and after they were done, they decided to grab dinner.” Efron’s pal added, “They have been friends a long time.” Another Taylor source said, “Taylor thinks Zac’s cute . . . [but] they are on totally different wavelengths.”It should be noted that the two are costarring in the film Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax.

The young singers were selected for consistently showing courtesy to their fans, and Abdul was picked for her “always-encouraging words of wisdom” to aspiring performers as a judge on The X Factor.Kate Middleton topped the list for exemplifying “poise and dignity in the spotlight,” while Harry Potter’s Emma Watson, NFL star Aaron Rodgers and child star Jackie Evancho were also honored.On the other end of the spectrum was Kim Kardashian, who was named the Most Ill-Mannered Person of 2011 for “making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage.”

Taylor Swift and pop star Justin Bieber extended their musical collaboration in Los Angeles last week. The two dueted on Justin’s hit “Baby” during one of Taylor’s four sold out shows at the Staples Center, but they also made time to write a song after the fact. Producer Kuk Harrell Tweeted about the collaboration, writing on Saturday (August 27th), “Wow!! Got to see @justinbieber & @taylorswift13 write a song together last night!! SMASH!!!! SMASH!!! SMASH!!! Let’s do it again Yall!!!” Justin then re-tweeted the post, adding confirmation to the news.  Also while in LA, Taylor was spotted dining with fellow Jake Gyllenhaal ex and Nashville native, Reese Witherspoon. They had lunch on Friday (August 26th) in Beverly Hills. Reese even gave Taylor a lift home afterward. And in more Taylor news, the superstar has added dates to her Speak Now tour in Australia and New Zealand. After sell-outs last week on initial dates, four additional shows were added to the itinerary. After nearly a year of whispers, Music Television suits are making good on vows to revamp the network’s once-popular hidden camera hit, Punk’d. Ashton Kutcher spent five seasons pranking some of the biggest names in Hollywood on the show before hanging up his laughing pants in 2007. With Ash now busy tickling funnybones (and possibly other parts) on the set of CBS’ Two and a Half Men, MTV has opted to rip a page from the Book of Saturday Night Live, tapping different rotating hosts to helm the show each week.

First up: Pop’s Boy Wonder Justin Bieber.

Last fall, the Canadian heartthrob had been rumored to be succeeding Ashton as the weekly host of Punk’d. Yeah, not quite. According to spywitness-types, Bieber and pal Taylor Swift will star in the first episode the second coming of Punk’d, produced by the Kutcher-owned Katalyst Production Company. The season opener, expected to debut later this year, will see The Biebs executing a practical joke on an unsuspecting Taylor in true Punk’d form.

The show was tapped on Friday — and interestingly enough, came just a few days after Bieber joined his good friend Taylor on stage in Los Angeles for a duet of his breakout hit “Baby.” The special guest appearance was a total surprise for the crowd, who went absolutely mental when Taylor asked them: “Who wants to see my friend Justin?”

She later Tweeted: “You think you’ve heard LOUD screaming in your life.. Then @justinbieber comes out and does a surprise song during your show. Woah. Unreal.”
