Jon Chu, director of Bieber’s new musical documentary feature film, Never Say Never, says his parents’ Palo Alto, Calif, restaurant Chef Chu’s experienced quite the healthy jump in business after he brought the pop singer in for dinner.

“We ate, took pictures, and now since his picture’s been up, business has gone up—like 20 percent!” Chu told me earlier today before a special screening of the flick in NYC. “We have presidents that have been at the restaurant…but it’s Justin Bieber that’s actually increased business.”

Chu said Bieber let the cameras roll on almost everything in his life. But getting his famous locks styled was one of the few things that was completely off limits.

“They call it magic, and I couldn’t see the magic,” Chu said with a laugh. “I wasn’t allowed to shoot him getting his hair done. I could see before. I could see after. But I couldn’t see him actually putting it together. I don’t know how they do it. They say it’s magic. They close the door and that’s that.”

Obama is getting his butt kicked by both ladies … especially Snooks … who’s leading the competition with 18% of the vote … followed by Paris, Bristol Palin … and her mom Sarah Palin … who’s already locked up 11%.

America’s first couple is not on Prince William and Kate Middleton’s list of invitees for what’s being called the “wedding of the decade,” the Daily Mail reported.

Sources told the British newspaper that William and his bride-to-be want to tie the knot in front of ordinary citizens. Because the wedding isn’t an official state event, the couple doesn’t feel compelled to invite foreign dignitaries.

“The wedding will not be a formal state occasion since Prince William is neither the sovereign nor the heir to the throne,” a St. James Palace spokesman said.

Despite the Obamas not being invited, a number of heads of state will likely be attendance at the April 29, Westminster Abbey ceremony, possibly including France’s president Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni.

The decision to exclude the President isn’t the norm.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana invited then-President Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy to watch them exchange vows in 1981. They were also invited to Prince Andrew’s wedding to Sarah Ferguson in 1986.

“It is certainly not the case that all foreign heads of state will be excluded. The guest list is still being drawn up and could change, but as things stand it’s right (to say the Obamas will not be invited),” a senior courtier said.

A glitzy, over-the-top wedding is likely to be out of the question too, as the country faces severe government cutbacks. Palace officials say the royal couple is “mindful of the economic situation.”

Snooki is upset with President Obama.

Why?

It certainly has nothing to do with foreign policy, health care reform or any other such important matters.

She doesn’t like that he’s, well, lying about her…

During his appearance on The View the other day, Obama said he didn’t know who Snooki was. However, in May, our commander in chief joked that Jersey Shore‘s pint-sized firecracker, along with JWoww and The Situation, should be excluded from paying the new tanning tax.

“I know he knows who I am,” Snooki told me yesterday at the Television Critics Association convention at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. “Why did he have to lie and say he didn’t know me? He did say Snooki and JWoww about the tanning stuff and now he doesn’t know who I am? He has to stop lying.”
