Singer Rihanna just seems to be getting better with age. After the tremendous success of songs like, “Umbrella” featuring Jay-Z and “Love The Way You Lie” featuring Eminem, the singer has some how managed to release her biggest hit to date. Rihanna’s “We Found Love” featuring Calvin Harris is enjoying its eighth week at Number One. That beats the seven weeks that the two aforementioned songs stayed at Number One and beats Adele‘s “Rolling In The Deep” for the longest stay atop the Billboard Hot 100 this year. Rihanna just beat out Adele as the year is rapidly coming to an end.

RIHANNA HAS YET TO RESPOND TO EDITOR’S RESIGNATION:Recently a Dutch fashion magazine referred to Rihanna ultimate n***a b**ch which was meant to be a compliment to her impeccable style. Obviously many people including the singer were taken aback which prompted the editor-in-chief of Jackie magazine, Eva Hoeke to resign. She said in a released statement, “Through the course of events, me and the publisher have concluded that because my credibility is now affected, it is better for all parties if I quit my job as editor-in-chief immediately.”Rihanna has yet to respond to the resignation.

In a fan video, the country star is shown launching into the instantly recognizable first notes of the rapper’s 2002 smash single, and then gently uttering the spoken-word intro of the song to the audience at the Van Andel Arena. As soon as she kicks off the first verse, the crowd beings to sing along.

With a smile on her face, Swift puts her melodic flair on the chorus of the Oscar-winning tune, singing the lines that were made famous by Detroit native and his movie ’8 Mile.’ After the high moment, however, the singer segued into a cover of Uncle Kracker’s ‘Smile,’ a choice that ended up dissipating the energy from the Eminem cover.

“Rolling in the Deep” singer Adele is rolling in the dough from downloads!

The British songbird’s sophomore album, 21, set an all-time industry record for digital album sales in the US, Billboard and Nielsen SoundScan said Thursday.

With a record-breaking 1,017,000 digital copies sold since its Feb. 22 release in the US, 21 has become the fastest-selling digital album to surpass the one million mark in the US. The album has sold more than nine million copies internationally since its UK release on Jan. 21. The bluesy lead single, “Rolling in the Deep,” went quadruple platinum earlier this year. Adele’s online sales, which account for about 30% of 21′s overall numbers, edged out Eminem’s Recovery, which previously held the top spot with 1,005,000 digital albums sold.

Last month, Adele was forced to cancel her tour of North America after losing her voice to an infection.

The duo recorded numerous well received underground songs including the popular song “Renegade” which would later be used on Jay-Z’s The Blueprint album with Royce’s verses replaced by Jay-Z. They have also recorded numerous freestyles together, including a 12-minute long battle. Footage of a Bad Meets Evil concert filmed in September 1998 in Boston at the Lyricist Lounge has also been leaked onto the internet.

Bad Meets Evil split up in early 2000s, after Royce fell out with Eminem’s group, D12. They have since reunited and released their EP Hell: The Sequel on June 14, 2011.

Eminem has opened up about his Lady Gaga diss on the Bad Meets Evil song “A Kiss.” On the song, which features Em’s partner in rhyme, Royce Da 5’9″, he spits, “Tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office / She’s still a male lady/ Wouldn’t f*ck her with her d*ck / You heard it / The verdict’s in.” Backstage at Bonnaroo, Em told FUSE that the diss was all in fun.He said, “I think Lady Gaga, as an artist you know, she’s undeniable . . . That was one of them things where sometimes I get a joke in my head and I kinda want to share it with the world, you know what I’m saying. So it was just one of them things man, and it’s you know it’s all in fun, its hip-hop. It is what it is, but as far as an artist, she’s dope, she’s an incredible talent.”

Eminem takes a jab at Lady Gaga in a new song called “A Kiss” from off of his upcoming collaboration album with Royce Da 5’9.’ In the track, Eminem pokes fun at rumors of the pop star being a hermaphrodite. Looks like Eminem has a new target. On a new song leaked from his upcoming album the fiery lyricist appears to have added pop sensation Lady Gaga to his long list of adversaries sending a few questionable bars her way on a new track “A Kiss” off his and partner Royce Da 5′ 9″‘s upcoming album Hell: The Sequel.

Rapping on the track with fellow lyric assassin Royce Da 5′ 9″, on the song Em apparently spotlights the singer’s gender status.

“Tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office / She’s still a male lady” Em raps.

While it’s questionable if Eminem did in fact dis Gaga, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if that were the case considering the Detroit native has been known to lyrically attack some of pop music’s finest offering. Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Nicki Minaj are just a few superstars to name who’ve been on the receiving end of Marshall’s missiles. For example, on Eminem and Royce’s lead single “Fast Lane” Em expresses his desire to romance the reigning queen of rap off wax.

With the reunion project between Em and Royce just a few days away from release fans are excited to see two of their favorite MCs back to making music together. Last month the pair spoke on the process how the sequel for Bad Meets Evil came about.

“Me and Royce, ever since back in the day when we did records together, we always had kind of a chemistry,” Eminem told MTV News. “It was fairly easy to play off what each other was doing, and I think we can [think] a lot alike.”

“It was pretty nostalgic, actually,” Royce said of the recording process. “It took me back to when we used to do stuff back in the day. We clicked like that. I wasn’t really surprised. We didn’t miss a step at all.”
