Now she has even more reason to believe it.

The actress, who plays tracksuit-wearing Sue Sylvester on the hit Fox series, shot scenes for the film, but has now been cut out of the movie, which hits theaters on August 12.

At a press conference before the film’s premiere this weekend, the show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, acknowledged Lynch ended up on the editing room floor, though added, “We’re doing another version in a couple of weeks on DVD… Jane will be on that.”

20th Century Fox announced today that it will release ‘GLEE LIVE! 3D!,’ a feature film culled from footage that will be shot during this summer’s upcoming ‘Glee Live! In Concert!’ tour. The 3D extravaganza will enjoy a two-week theatrical run beginning Aug. 12.

‘Glee’ co-creator Ryan Murphy said in a statement that the film will allow Gleeks who couldn’t get tickets to the concert tour a chance to experience the madness firsthand.

“There were only so many cities we could get to,” Murphy said in a statement. “We knew that not every fan who wanted to attend a concert would get that opportunity. Now, thanks to our friends at Twentieth Century Fox Film, we’ll be able to bring the concert experience to movie theaters across the country in full three dimensional glory. We promise every passionate Gleek a cinematic experience that will have them singing and dancing in the aisles.”

According to the press release, “The movie will capture the unique concert experience along with special moments involving the characters themselves.” (We take that to mean behind-the-scenes footage and/or in-character skits.)

All of the show’s main cast members (including newbies Chord Overstreet, Ashley Fink and Darren Criss) will sing songs from season 2, including ‘I’m a Slave 4 U,’ ‘Teenage Dream’ and original songs ‘Loser Like Me’ and ‘Hell to the No.’

“Right now we are planning our 3D tour movie and is directing it,” will.i.am tells Vibe magazine.

“We have the biggest director because we are the biggest group on the planet. The Peas are filming it in South America. People will be able to see us in the theater with the 3D glasses and everything.”

“There will be a storyline that [Cameron] came up with, which will be dope,” the Peas’ frontman says. “It’s a full-length film and it’s based around our tour activities. We’ve toured from America and Europe, to the Middle East, South America, Asia and Africa.

“It’s not like we go, ‘Yo, we are international, you know what I’m saying? London and Paris!’ Nah, that’s just two cities. We want to go across the planet.”

The as-yet-untitled Black Eyed Peas concert film isn’t set for release until early next year. In the meantime, will.i.am also rebuffs the rumors of strain with singer Fergie.

“Fergie wants to do another solo record, so of course we are going to do that,” he says. “We have material ready for that. But right now we are focused on the Peas — our world tour and the movie.”

Not many details are out about the project yet, but it will also be featured as a series of comic books sometime next year. People still read those, eh?
