ContactMusic.com reports Beyonce Knowles escaped serious injury after the door to her Mercedes was ripped off by a speeding taxi in London. The “Halo” singer was on her way to a romantic dinner with her husband, Jay- Z, right before the incident occurred. She was going to visit a Harrods store just before the taxi side-swiped the door from its hinges. On-lookers say the car missed Beyonce by just a few centimeters. A source spilled, “She seemed very shaken and was lucky to be alive.” Later in the day, the couple appeared to be relaxed and happy at a Japanese restaurant called Zuma.
