Bret Michaels, the 46-year-old singer of glam metal band Poison, sings for the 17-year-old Miley Cyrus to shed her clothes in their new rock-country ballad, Nothing to Lose. WTF???

“We both know better than this,” sings Michaels, “still we can’t resist… Slowly get undressed.”

Miley joins in during the chorus, which describes two lovers at odds:
“Won’t you fall down on me/So close I can feel you breathe/Tonight in the darkness with nothing to lose/If the truth is all we can see/If I fall for you, could you fall for me?”

Here’s what Miley had to say about the duet:
“He’s is so passionate about music and it shows. I think it is such a rad collaboration because it shows that two artists that seem so different on the outside can come together and organically create something that we are both proud of.”

Simon Cowell’s intense work load has turned the American Idol judge into an insomniac who uses sleeping pills to catch some shut-eye.

Cowell says he is so consumed by his workload, he is often up until the early hours of the morning working on projects:

”I am totally and utterly consumed by my work, to the point almost of an obsession. Almost every night I will be working until four or five in the morning. My life is controlled by that…I sleep very late, because the time I think is best is two or three in the morning. I take sleeping pills almost every night because I freak out at the thought that I can’t sleep. The more I think about it, the more it bothers me.”

Maybe he’s just having nightmares about the lame contestants on Idol this season?

So how does Cameron Diaz feel about getting romantic — even if only onscreen — with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake? In a word: thrilled.

“He’s the best person for the job. He’s going to be hilarious,” the actress told Access Hollywood host Billy Bush on the Oscars red carpet Sunday.

The former twosome are pairing up in the big-screen comedy Bad Teacher, in which they’ll play the leads. The film — which centers on a teacher (Diaz) who makes a play for her rival’s boyfriend (Timberlake) after getting dumped — started shooting this month in Los Angeles. The comedy also stars Molly Shannon, Jason Segel, Lucy Punch and “Modern Family” actor Eric Stonestreet.

Diaz, who said they just had their first day of shooting with Segel on Saturday, is ready to see JT put his comedic chops to work. “He’s clearly a very talented comedian; look at his ‘Saturday Night Live’ [skits].”

As soon as Vanessa Paradis (pictured) found out that Johnny Depp would have a major love scene with Angelina Jolie in The Tourist, she started campaigning to get him the hell out of there. We’ve already seen pictures of the two filming on set, but the New York Post says there is some behind the scenes manipulating going on and that it is possible Depp could be replaced by Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio.

Paradis, Depp’s partner of 12 years with whom she has two kids, doesn’t have to look deep into Jolie’s past to find reasons to worry.

Jolie and Pitt hooked up after they steamed up the screen in Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The 2005 picture was largely credited with busting up Pitt’s marriage with Jennifer Aniston. Years earlier, Jolie got her hooks into Billy Bob Thornton, while he was reportedly engaged to actress Laura Dern.
