The daytime queen is poised to take the night.

Oprah Winfrey plans to do an evening program for OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, the new cable venture set to launch next year as she is wrapping up the 25th and final season of her Chicago-based syndicated daytime talk show.
The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday in advance of an OWN presentation to potential advertisers in New York that the nighttime cable show, “Oprah’s Next Chapter” both in name and in fact, likely will make its debut in late 2011 and run as many as two or three times a week.

Winfrey told the Journal that unlike her daytime hit, which is produced out of her Harpo Studios compound on the city’s West side and is set to leave the air in September 2011, she will be free to travel the world with her new OWN show.
