In yet another move in a career filled with win, Jay-Z celebrated the grand opening of his next 40/40 franchise inside of the new Barclays Center.
“I walked around her earlier and I seen everyone busy at work trying to finish up. It was a great feeling, ” Jay-Z told MTV. “A guy stopped me in the hallway and said ‘This is a great thing for New York City ,’ and that’s what the whole thing was about.”
This is the seventh 40/40 Club sports bar Jay-Z has opened. Hov will be kicking off the first of several shows at the new stadium tonight and the new Brooklyn Nets play their first preseason game in the arena against the Washington Wizards on October 15th. The Nets take on their hometown rivals The New York Knicks in their official home opener on November 1st.
