nicki-minaj-pound-the-alarm-videoWord on the street is that our favorite Barbie doll Nicki Minaj was scammed by a local music producer, Ellis Briggs, in her hometown of Trinidad while filming her new music video ‘Pound The Alarm’.

According to radaronline, Nicki allegedly paid Briggs who owns a video production company $100,000 to produce her new video, but he never did the work.

Police in Trinidad confirmed that a lawsuit has been filed against Briggs by London Entertaiment – the company that filmed the Benny Boom music video.

And get this…Briggs has denied that he scammed the Young Money star and claimed that the femcee still owes him $19,000 in payment.
