The latest season of “The Voice” may be over, but it looks like the feud between two of the celebrity mentors is still going strong. Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera have been known to bicker on the NBC singing competition, but the feud appeared to escalate earlier this week. The two clashed over Adam and his finalist Tony Lucca’s decision to sing a version of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems,” which Christina felt was derogatory toward women. The tiff reportedly continued backstage, and fellow mentor Cee Lo Green tells “Us Weekly” it’s beginning to get “a little inconvenient for everyone.” Green adds that the feud is something that shouldn’t carry over to the next season if they want to maintain the integrity of the show.
Okay Christina. And your music video “Not Myself Tonight” has a lot of integrity? Whatever!
“The Voice” host Carson Daly also expressed his frustration with the Aguilera-Levine rivalry. He compared it to family members bickering during Thanksgiving, but says it’s nothing new for them and it usually goes away.
