Billboard.com readers think Britney Spears has had a pretty good year. The website unveiled its 2011 Readers Poll this week, and the pop superstar finished first in the race for the year’s MVP with 43-percent of the vote. Likewise, Britney’s “Femme Fatale” trek was voted the Best Tour, her performance at the Billboard Music Awards with Rihanna was named Best Awards Show Performance, and her “Till the World Ends” clip won the Best Music Video battle. But it wasn’t all good news, as 29-percent of voters picked Spears as the year’s Most Overrated artist. That was good enough for second place just behind Lady Gaga, who also won for Best Fashion. Adele’s best-selling album “21” finished on top in the Favorite Billboard 200 Number One category, while “Rolling in the Deep” was voted Favorite Hot 100 Number One.
In other categories, Jennifer Lopez’s return was picked as the year’s Best Comeback, and Amy Winehouse’s death was voted 2011’s Biggest Controversy. Looking ahead to next year, Madonna’s untitled 12th studio release was named the Most Anticipated 2012 Album.
