Justin Bieber took to Twitter to apologize to his fans for giving the paparazzi the finger.

Bieber gave photographers the middle finger as he and his girlfriend Selena Gomez were leaving Maggiano’s after celebrating his 17th birthday at the restaurant on March 1. He admitted to losing his temper and regretted his actions.

Bieber tweeted:

Bieber had urged fans to donate at least $17 to the Charity: Water foundation, which provides clean water to those in need. Bieber has already helped raise more than $44,000 (and growing), which surpassed the $17,000 campaign goal.
