Miley Cyrus turned in a very grown-up performance on Britain’s Got Talent Thursday night that has some critics of the 17-year-old more than a little upset. Half-way through the number, it appeared that Miley kissed one of her female back-up singers.

Miley, however, shot that rumor down very quickly on her fan site, MileyWorld.com:

“I promise you I did not kiss her and it is ridiculous that two entertainers can’t even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story….I really hope my fans are not disappointed in me because the truth is I did nothing wrong.”

Forget about the kiss for a sec…the fact of the matter is that Miley is 17 years old, and a majority of her fans are tweens. Whether she wants to admit it or not, she IS a role model, and she’s setting really bad example. She’s just following in the trend of Disney stars who are acting out because of their lost childhoods…
