In the wake of Freddie Gray’s death and the subsequent protests that have ensued, Minneapolis legend Prince is set to release a song “critical of the killing of young African-American men,” a publicist for the artist said yesterday (April 30), according to CNN.

Although the record is set to be centered on the current events in Baltimore, the ode is also set to address various social and political issues throughout the country.

Could this be 2015’s version of “Sign ‘O’ The Times?” A release date for the record has not yet been released by Prince’s Paisley Park Studios.
