Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna are two of today’s most acclaimed artists in pop culture. Both stars share many similarities, including their singing and dancing skills. Now, they can cross “animated kid’s film” from their list.

With still a month away from premiering, both Lopez and Riri form part of the upcoming children’s movie “Home.”

“Home” tells the moving and adorable story of the alien race BOOV. Here’s what to expect in a nutshell:

When Earth is taken over by the overly confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated while all Boov get busy reorganizing the planet. But when one resourceful girl, Tip, manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov named Oh. The two fugitives realize there’s a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime.

In the forthcoming film, Rihanna takes on the leading role of teenage girl Gratuity “Tip” Tucci. The 45-year-old Puerto Rican star portrays her mother, Lucy Tucci. Interesting combination, if you ask us.

Also in the movie are Jim Parsons as Boov Oh, Steve Martin as Captain Smek, the leader of the Boov race, and Matt L. Jones ad Boov Kyle.
