The year has gone by quickly and with it 365 days celebrity shenanigans . At least everyone had enough time to make the best of 2014–making us cringe, laugh and marvel. As a new year begins, we celebrate with a VIDA wish list of things we hope to see happen with some of our favorite Latino stars in 2015.

Let’s get this party started.

1) A new ‘old-school’ Shakira album

Right as we were writing this list, we get the big news that Sofia Vergara and beau Joe Manganiello are engaged! Just in time, because we’re really hoping for wedding bells in 2015 for the sexy couple. After seven months of dating she said “yes,” can their “I Do’s” be just as quick?

3) Eva Longoria Preggers

Will Eva Longoria have children?

Mexican-American actress Eva Longoria, 39, is the first to admit that she loves kids, but they’re not for her. She seems to be in a healthy and loving relationship with Televisa’s President “Pepe” Baston…but we think all that’s missing are adorable babies ahead.

4) Another Latino hit that can top “Bailando”

Enrique Iglesias sings Bailando with Gente de Zona.

Ever since its release in March, 2014 radio was ALL about “Bailando.” We’re sure that after a while, the catchy tune became annoying, as it gained worldwide success and topped charts for over 30 weeks. Deep down inside, we love the song by Enrique Iglesias, Descember Bueno and Gente D’Zona, and that’s why we hope a new track can be as good and bring Latino music to the forefront again in 2015.

5) A Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem movie

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are married.

We can’t get enough of the sultry Spanish couple Javier Bardem and wife Penelope Cruz. We love them so much that we want to see more of them on set together. In the past, they’ve worked in many films such as “Jamon, Jamon” (1992), “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” (2008) and “The Counselor” (2013). We’re wishing for a new Bardem-Cruz flick in 2015.

6) More James Rodriguez Underwear Ads

In 2014, Colombian soccer star James Rodriguez unleashed his inner-model. In 2015, we wish for more James underwear ads –one for each month, please!

7) J.Lo settling down, but for real

Jennife Lopez is single.

Jennifer Lopez, you’re so beautiful and flawless. You age so gracefully, but can you please settle down in 2015? We hate to see your love life on a roller coaster.

8) An Alejandro Sanz comeback

After teasing his fans on social media, it seems as if an Alejandro Sanz comeback is in the works for 2015. The Spanish singer-songwriter announced a new album ahead and a possible tour. We will cross this off our list as the studio album and tour dates are released!

9) A GRAMMY win for Romeo Santos

Making history in so many ways, 2014 has got to be one of the best yet for bachata singer Romeo Santos. But, no GRAMMY or Latin GRAMMY win in hand –we hope a miracle in 2015 can change that.

10) Pitbull to stay quiet

Pitbull and Elvis Crespo worked together.

Pitbull is in every freakin’ song –and quite frankly, it gets pretty annoying. Though we’re proud of the Cuban-American rapper’s success, we just want 2015 to be Pitbull-free.

Bonus: Pitbull, Andrea Bocelli collaboration

But since we know that’s impossible, we’re gonna wish for a collaboration between Mr. 305 and iconic Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli. Hey! It’s Mr. Worldwide, anything’s possible for him.
