As we previously reported, the giant burrito wielding super chain Chipotle is suing singer Frank Ocean for accepting advanced funds exceeding more than $200,000.00 and then not doing an agreed upon commercial. They allegedly paid him to remake the song “Pure Imagination”. But Ocean was angry over Chipotle’s unwillingness to remove their logo from the end of the commercial so Ocean quit.
Well according to Eben Gregory, Frank’s camp claims he was supposed to have final say on the ad but it didn’t work out that way. Numerous reports say that Frank responded by writing a check to the company for the exact amount of his advance (which is what they were asking) but wrote “F*CK OFF” on the check.
Says a Chipotle rep,
“We’ve seen the photo, but haven’t received a check.”
Hmmmm….maybe he sent it in a burrito too!
